We
offer two different kinds of courses: Regular Courses
and Courses for Business. Both are given through a
100% interactive process in which we put a special
emphasis on the practice of oral communication.
To make this method really effective, our classes are given
individually or to small groups of homogeneous students,
usually at the students’ own workplace. That means
“in-company training”.

Regular Courses are divided into three different
levels: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.
The initial assignment of the student to one of these
levels is made by a course coordinator by means of
written tests and personal interviews.
Every level consists of different steps, and in each
step classes are given by highly skilled and properly
trained teachers who are permanently supervised and
recycled.
The Basic Course comprises four distinct steps: Basic
I, II, III and IV. Each step can usually be completed
in a four-month period, supposing two 90’ weekly
classes.
The Intermediate Course comprises two steps: I and
II. A seven to nine-month term is usually needed
to conclude each step, also supposing two 90’ weekly
classes.
The Advanced Course is to be given to those students
with an already good fluency level. It aims to a
sort of oriented conversation, focusing on subjects
that might be professionally interesting to or needed
by the students. Its duration cannot be established,
since it depends on how complex the issues to be
covered are. |
Courses for Business are divided into two categories:
General and Specific.
General Course for Business
In this course the student gets acquainted
with the general business language, along with
the Regular Course. From the onset of the Basic
Level Course, the student begins to learn about
the terminology of the business world. It is
called “general” because it touches
many different areas, without any specific
orientation towards the student’s field
of work.
Specific Course for Business
This is a course where the student defines
his/her immediate professional needs, so the
course is specifically oriented to these purposes.
These courses can last for short or long periods,
depending upon the student’s objectives,
which might be, for example:
Preparation for job applicants’ interviews.
Preparation and discussion of business and/or
professional papers, like marketing and business
plans, for example.
Simulation of Conference Calls.
Medium and/or long term courses to improve
the understanding of terminology used in different
sectors like finances, export/import, marketing,
communications, data processing and others.
Instrumental quick training for medium level
employees in need to acquire basic skills to
communicate with foreign clients, like telephone
operators, receptionists, clerks, waiters,
hotel maids, etc. | | |
